Clara Evie (Durant) Mohler

Clara Evie Mohler, age 90, born in Bromley and a long time resident of Fairhope Alabama, died Friday, March 15, 2024 at her residence in Crossroads. 

She is survived by three children, John Andrew Mohler Jr. (wife Barbara) of Fairhope, Susan Ricker (husband Eric) of Marietta, GA, and Wesley Mohler (wife Carroll) of Kissimmee, FL;  five grandchildren, John Everett Mohler of Fairhope, John William Mohler of Robertsdale, Tatiana Ricker of Brooklyn, NY, Travis Ricker of Pittsburgh, PA, and Angel Camelo of Anaheim, CA; and a great-granddaughter, Samantha Mohler of Robertsdale.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mabel Durant France, father Hiram France, husband, John Andrew Mohler Sr.; her four sisters, Patsy Mayo, Doris Gipson, Alice Rieben, and Daisy Beckham; her three brothers, Benny France, George France, and Edward France.

Graveside services and burial will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery with Jim Burnett officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Gabe Hamm, Eric Ricker, Will Mohler, Everett Mohler, Wesley Mohler, and John A. Mohler Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial contributions be made to James E. Cook Memorial Presbyterian Chapel, 37100 State Hwy 225, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
