Cathy (Poston) Porter

Cathy Poston Porter, age 61, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Crossroads Community died Saturday, April 6, 2024 at her residence. She was the head start director and manager of Dollar Store in Daphne.

She is survived by her husband, William Porter of Crossroads; one son, Daniel (Kaitlyn McDaniel) Porter of Stockton, AL; three daughters, Brandy Michelle (Nicholas) Donovan of Gulf Breeze, FL, Bridget (James) Rabus of Lakeland, FL and Crystal (Nicholas) Gaston of Mobile, AL; one sister, Shannon (Billy) Floyd of Bay Minette, AL; sister-in-law, Judy Poston of Crossroads; seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Savannah, Caleb, Avery, Lucas, Amelia and Ansley and three great grandchildren, Oliver, Aeryn and Matthew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Novel and Leona Crenshaw Poston and two brothers, Wayne Poston and Narvel Poston.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Church of God with Reverend Richie Nobles officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Church of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Crossroads Church of God.

Pallbearers will be Dillon Brinkley, Logan Singleton, Jeremy Baker, David Bain, Zachary Bain and Nicholas Gaston.
